 | CATS Module Types
These are the module types that exist today (July 2006) and that may appear on the summary page printouts:
Pulstec DVD
This is our DVD Pro that is based on an SDP-1000 player.
Pulstec Stamper DVD
This is the same as above, but built as a stamper tester.
Pulstec DVDR Pro
This is a DVD Pro that has been modified to test both DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW discs, both written and unwritten.
Pulstec DVDR Stamper Pro
This is the same as above, but built as a stamper tester.
Pulstec DVD-R/RW
This is a DVD Pro that has been modified to test DVD-R/RW discs, both written and unwritten.
Pulstec Stamper DVD-R/RW
This is the same as above, but built as a stamper tester.
Pulstec DVD+R/RW
This is a DVD Pro that has been modified to test DVD+R/RW discs, both written and unwritten.
Pulstec Stamper DVD+R/RW
This is the same as above, but built as a stamper tester.
Pulstec DVD 2X
This is our 2X DVD tester. It is based on an SDP-2000 player, but it can measure in double speed.
Toptica DVD 4X (D400)
This is our 4X DVD tester. It is based on a Toptica reference player, and can measure at 4x speed.
Pulstec DVD-X
This is an SDP-1000 player, modified to test Microsoft X-Box discs.
DVD Falken
This is a non-Pulstec based tester where the optical pickup is from a consumer player. This pickup has only a red laser and no infrared laser, which means that the optics is optimized for DVD only.
B100 BD Pro
This is our BD tester. It is based on a Toptica reference player, and can measure BD Rom discs.
B600 BDR Pro
This is our BD-R/RE tester. It is based on a Toptica reference player, and can measure BD-Rom, BD-R and BD-RE discs.
H100 HD DVD Pro
This is our HD DVD tester. It is based on a Toptica reference player, and can measure HD DVD Rom discs.
H600 HD DVD R Pro
This is our HD DVD-R/RW tester. It is based on a Toptica reference player, and can measure HD DVD Rom, HD DVD-R and HD DVD-RW discs.
Sony DUC-10
This is not one of our own products. It is Sonys unbalance tester, but it is possible to use in our user interface.
Philips CDM24
This is an old product that went under the name of CD Base.
